Winter Protection
With the winter months fast approaching, everyone is rushing about looking for a warm winter coat and some lovely thermal gloves. That’s because you would never venture out on a cold winters day without the
correct winter protection.
Well don't just stop at protecting yourselves from the ravages of winter, think about your beloved motor. You’re vehicles Paint, Plastic, glass and others surfaces are at the mercy of Jack Frost and his winter friends.
DPN can help your car make it through the winter months and into spring.
Long gone are the days when just a coat of polish will do. Like everything else in our lives, technology has moved on. The summer weather has been and gone so it’s time to put away the carnauba waxes and get out the synthetic waxes or as they are more commonly known paint sealants.
Winter Preparation process
• Inspection of exterior paint work.
• Pre-clean body work with citrus snow foam
• Pre-clean Wheel arches, door shuts and seals e.t.c with Citrus de-greaser.
• Rinse off with a pressure washer
• Hand wash bodywork with Ph-neutral carnauba shampoo
• Rinse off with a pressure washer
• Dry off bodywork by hand
• Remove any tar deposits from seals and bodywork
• Remove exterior paint contaminates using specialised clay bars and clay Lube
• Alloy wheels will be cleaned with non-acid products to dissolve brake dust and grime
• All exterior Body Panels will be prepared with Paint cleanser Fluid
• All exterior vinyl including Wheel arches, Mud Flaps e.t.c will dressed and protected
• Tyres will be dressed (Choice of Matt/Shiny Finish)
• Apply two coats of polymer sealant
• Polish all chrome and aluminium surfaces
• Apply two coats of wheel wax to alloys wheels
• Polish Windows (Inside and out)

Windscreen washer fluids will be topped up with Autoglym screen wash.
